In God of War 4, players visit the region of Wildwoods frequently to complete various quests. Additionally, it’s also the first area players discover in the game and part of their main storyline.
The game contains hundreds of collectibles buried throughout the map. However, the collectibles in the Wildwoods are strenuous for players to find as a few parts of the region are initially undiscoverable.
There are four artifacts, one Odin’s raven, one Nornir chest, and two Mystic gateways hidden in the Wildwood region. A few collectibles demand you to return later when you have the necessary tools to enter particular areas.
The four artifacts in Wildwoods are part of the Lost and Found set, and you can find them in the following locations:
1Artifact #1
You can find the first artifact on the right of the path leading to the main gate by Kratos’ home. It’s in the form of a glowing silver treasure that contains a doll.
Moreover, players who are able to find all four artifacts receive extra XPs.
2Artifact #2
The second artifact lies along the path of Kratos’ home, next to a set of stone stairs leading up to a bridge. You’ll notice a glowing object on the left of the stone stairs, which is an artifact in the shape of a boat.
3Artifact #3
Players can find the third artifact near a frozen river near the location of their fight with the first draugr.
You’ve to progress along the path of Kratos’ home to where you first fought a draugr. Then, look for the stone crossroads and take the immediate right.
Eventually, you’ll come across a frozen river leading to a higher ledge, which you’ll have to pull down into the river below with a chain. Defeat the pack of wolves waiting for you down the ravine and turn to the left to get your hands on the glowing treasure.
Nonetheless, it’ll be a horse this time.
4Artifact #4
To find the final artifact in Wildwoods, enter the main temple and move down the steps to the main room with the locked gate. If you’re facing it, turn around to find an open door leading to an uneven area.
You’ll find the glowing icon on the right side opposite the enormous chest. It possesses a Viking toy, the last Lost and Found set, and the fourth artifact.
How to find the Nornir chest in Wildwoods?
You can find the Nornir chest by heading straight down the main path from Kratos’ home into the small chamber across the stone crossroads.
Nevertheless, the chest will be locked, and hence you’ll have to search and destroy the three rune seals that match the ones on the chest.
Players can find the C rune towards the right of the tomb and the N rune within a small coffin on the left. The R rune is behind a few rocks and bushes on the left wall.
Note: On breaking the three runes, you’ll receive an Idunn Apple as a reward to increase Kratos’ maximum health.
Location of Odin’s Raven in Wildwoods
There’s only one Odin’s raven in the Wildwoods region of God of War 4, and it’s located beyond the point where Kratos fought his first Troll.
Players may choose the path through the main temple to reach it or the shortcut behind Kratos’ house once they clear Hel Bramble and climb onto the above platform.
Once you come across the chamber, open it using the magic chisel. Then, take the lift down to find the raven hiding in a chamber near the realm tear. You can spot it circling the room above.
Although, looking at the floor to follow its shadow will make it easier to find.
Where to find the Mystic gateways in Wildwood?
Players can locate two Mystic gateways in the Wildwoods, which’ll activate only when they return to the Wildwoods in the Sickness.
You can reach the Mystic gateways through the following ways:
I. Mystic Gateway #1
The first Mystic gateway is part of the main storyline and becomes automatically available when you return to Kratos’ home to find the forgotten weapon.
Players can find it outside the house to the right of the front yard.
II. Mystic Gateway #2
You can find the second gateway at the Hidden Chamber of Odin.
Players can discover it in the garden area behind the spot where they fought the first Troll. It’s located between the main temple and the path leading back to Kratos’ house.
Furthermore, you can unlock the giant door with the aid of the magic chisel and take the elevator below to find the gateway.
