An Easy Guide to Find the Fourth Shrine – Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda is back and is bigger than ever. Tears of the Kingdom features new puzzles as well as new quests. Finding Princess Zelda is a main quest that requires players to find four Shrines on the Great Sky Island. The last shrine is the Nachoyah Shrine, and it’s tedious to find.

The Nachoyah Shrine is located in the Room of Awakening on the Great Sky Island in Tears of the Kingdom. Players must fast-travel there after unlocking the Rewind mechanic inside the Temple of Time to reach the Shrine.

On arriving at the location, players will face a puzzle featuring two giant cogs. Let’s take a look at how to solve the puzzle.

1. Making a Path Through the Cogs using the Recall Ability

Inside the Room of Awakening

After arriving at the Room of Awakening, players must go to the front-left corner and use the Ascend ability to get on top of the elevated platform. On the left side of the elevated platforms will be two giant cogs

Using Recall on the Cog

Use the Recall ability on the first cogs to send it in the opposite direction. While the cog is rotating in an anti-clockwise direction, jump on it and move on to the next cog. Once the next cog reaches a ledge, jump on it, and the path ahead will lead you to the Nachoyah Shrine.

2. Crossing the Body of Water Inside the Nachoyah Shrine

After entering the Nachoyah Shrine, players must use Rewind on a floating raft to ride it across the first body of water. Use Recall on the second floating raft, which will cause it to head back up to the nearby waterfall.

The second floating raft will be on another body of water, just after crossing the first one.

At the top of the waterfall, there will be two areas: one with another cog and another site with a locked door containing a large clock with spinning hands. The large clock is the Nachoyah Shrine clock puzzle that players need to solve before obtaining the fourth Shrine.

3. How to solve the Nachoyah Shrine clock puzzle?

Players can solve the Nachoyah Shrine clock puzzle by using Rewind on one of the hands at the exact moment when the two hands cross. Applying it on either hand will solve the puzzle if the timing is correct.

After solving the clock puzzle, players will get access to the room containing the fourth Shrine. Interacting with the statue will grant players another Light of Blessing, teleporting them outside, back to the Room of Awakening.
