New World: No Login Ticket Received Error Fix! Server Crash Error

New World seems to be burdened with numerous bugs, connectivity, and server issue since the very day of its launch. Despite the developers’ best effort, game-breaking issues keep arising.

Fortunately, with the latest 1.0.3 update, most of the bugs and connectivity errors appear to have been fixed, but players might still run into an error that reads as “Connection Error: No login ticket received. Please try again,” or “login ticket invalid/expired”

A Reddit thread on r/newworldgame brought this issue to light a few months back, sadly with no confirmed fix:

Fixing No Login Ticket Received Error in New World

The “no login ticket received” error in New World occurs primarily due to server overload and suggests the servers are hitting their maximum capacity. It must be fixed from the side of the production team by maintaining or increasing the number of servers.

A server-side error like this generally affects a wide span of players and is not limited to a couple of players, so if you feel that you are the only one facing the issue and it could be a client-sided connection error, then here are a few basic fixes you can try:

I. Restart New World and the Wi-Fi

Sometimes, the solution is as easy as that! Just terminate the game application altogether and end all the processes related to it running in the background (if any), then relaunch the game. It might sound obvious and insufficient, but it does the job.

If you use Steam, keep the steam client running in the background after relaunching the game. This trick can fix steam-related connection errors.

While you are at it, try the oldest trick in the book as well and restart your Wi-Fi router because most client-sided connection errors occur due to unstable/poor network connection.

II. Refresh Internet Connection

This method will actually make you work to solve the connection error using the command prompt. To do so:

  1. Go to the Search Box and type cmd in and select Run as Administrator.
  2. Upon doing so, enter the following commands one after another:
  • ipconfig /flushdns
  • ipconfig /registerdns
  • ipconfig /release
  • ipconfig /renew
  • netsh winsock reset

3. Restart your PC when done

III. Verifying the Integrity of the Game Files on Steam

  1. Launch Steam.
  2. Right-click on the icon of “New World” in your Steam library.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select “Properties.”
  4. Select the Local Files tab, and
  5. Click the “Verify integrity of game files” button.

Wait for the process to complete, and then relaunch the game.

IV. Brute Force Your Way into the Game

It may sound absurd but sometimes just keep spamming the play button also does the job. The same has worked out for some players as confirmed in a post by the reddit user u/estrafire on r/newworldgame.

V. Relax and Wait it Out!

We all hate to hear it, but unfortunately, if the tricks mentioned above do not fix the error, all you can do is wait it out and let the experts in Amazon Games HQ deal with the problem. But, hey! I know an efficient method to get better at the game while waiting for the error to be fixed.
