The highly anticipated Warzone 2 has been out for a few weeks now and players seem to be enjoying themselves for the most part. No online multiplayer game launches without bugs and issues, and Warzone 2 is no different. New issues keep coming up and a new loadout issue has been reported which has been hindering players’ experience.
A new bug has been reported by some players in Warzone 2 where players can’t save their loadouts in DMZ mode. DMZ mode is a new mode in Warzone 2 which is unlike anything Call of Duty has ever done and it’s very similar to the game Escape from Tarkov. This bug was reported on Reddit where there was some confusion regarding it being a bug or a feature.
If you can’t save your loadout in DMZ, then there are 2 simple fixes for it. The first fix requires you to make sure you don’t have any weapon blueprints in your loadout. The second fix requires you to restart your console and then relaunch the game again.
Here are the 2 fixes explained in a more detailed manner:
Remove Weapon Blueprints
Multiple players have reported that removing weapon blueprints from their loadout while adding base versions has fixed the issue for them and they’re able to save their loadouts.
If you’re still facing this problem, then try to add and remove attachments to see if you can save them. You can always reboot your console or PC and then relaunch the game to check if it’s fixed.
As of now, no official fix has been given by Infinity Ward. The developers need to be more clear if this is a bug or a feature of the game mode and if it is a feature then what kind of loadouts can be saved.
Restart Your Console
No matter what platform you’re on, whether it’s PlayStation, Xbox or PC, restarting the device can always fix issues occurring in a game plus restarting your console will also let you know if the issue is being caused from your end. Try this fix once and relaunch the game. If it doesn’t solve the loadout issue, then we suggest waiting for an official patch.
Keep checking Infinity Ward and Call of Duty’s social media accounts to see if they’ve said anything about the issue. If none of the fixes seem to work, then we suggest playing other Warzone 2 modes and leaving DMZ for a while until the loadout issue is fixed.
