How to Get Rollo’s Lost Dane Axe in AC Valhalla’s River Raids?

The new update on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s River Raids DLC brought three new rivers for Eivor to explore and brought in a new armor set, new weapons, and unlockable skills to collect. The three new rivers: Berbha, Erriff, and the Rhine, added to the update, have a new armor called the Lugh’s Armor Set that Eivor can collect while raiding.

Although the AC fans greatly appreciated the new content, some players couldn’t help but notice that progression on a particular river was showing incomplete on the River Raids map. That’s right! I am talking about River Severn’s “Gears and Weapons” progression bar showing a 2/3 after the new update.

Don’t worry; it’s not a glitch in the game. This progression is complete when you do a particular mission in the DLC. What mission, you ask? Well, let me tell you all about it!

With the new River Raids update, River Severn now has a total of three gears and weapons to collect. The first two are the Saint George’s Armor Set pieces you can collect while raiding; the third one is the newly added Rollo’s Lost Dane Axe that you can get after defeating the Champion of England during the Champions of the Faith Mission in River Raids.

So, if you’re wondering why River Severn is marked as incomplete in Vagn’s map, it is only because of the update. No such bug or glitch is causing this!

Vagn

The Champions of the Faith is a newly added mission in the River Raids DLC of AC Valhalla. The task is first triggered when players have completed all the new river raids (i.e., River Berbha, Erriff, and the Rhine). Then they need to head over to Vagn, who will inform the players of Champions hidden in camps.

The Champion for River Severn is the Champion of England who can be found in the Northern Monastery. However, the marker will guide you to the Champion’s exact location.

Just remember, the Champions of Faith mission is only available after you’ve completed all the other raids from the newly added rivers.

After defeating the Champion and collecting the loot, the “Gear and Weapons” objective of River Severn will finally be complete.
