Call of Duty: Warzone 2 features a destructive nuke, which could wipe out the whole map within seconds if acquired. Amidst new features like the new overhauled Gulag, backpack system, and proximity chat, the nuke comes as a welcome surprise for players who want a challenge.
However, earning the tactical nuke is not an easy task. The process is slightly difficult but once you pull it off, you’ll win the whole match within a couple of seconds. Here’s how to get the tactical nuke in Warzone 2.
How to get the Tactical Nuke in Warzone 2?
Before you attempt to get the nuke in Warzone 2, you need to get five wins in a row, meaning you have to win five consecutive matches. After that, load into a new match and you should see a pop-up on the screen that reads “Champion’s Quest Available”. Follow the process below to do this:
- Get a 5-game win streak in Warzone 2 battle royale.
- Find and start the Champion’s Quest contract in a game.
- Collect the three nuclear elements, which are marked on the map.
- Wait for the bomb site to appear.
- Deposit the nuclear elements and arm the bomb.
- Defend the Warzone 2 nuke for two minutes.
After activating the Champion’s Quest, a contract tracker will appear on the left side of the screen along with four circles. After a short time, the first circle will show a chemical symbol, which will appear on your map.
Follow this map marker to find the first of three elements that you need to gather in order to make the Warzone 2 nuke. After finding the first element, the next element will be marked on the map. And then the third one will appear.
After collecting all three elements, a message saying “Bomb Site Revealed” will show up on your screen. Go to the bombsite, put all three elements in the bomb, and then arm the nuke.
A two-minute timer will pop up, during which you need to defend the bomb site, as players rush to the site to disarm the nuke. After successfully defending the bomb site, the nuke goes off, killing everyone on the map and you win the match.
