AC: Valhalla is undoubtedly one of the best games in its long-running franchise. Even a year after its release, the game continues to be played by hundreds of players that continue to pour many hours into the game’s enthrallingly delightful open world. With multiple DLCs and a season pass under its belt, the game is, without any doubt, highly successful even to this day.

So, to celebrate the game’s continued success and anniversary, Ubisoft has put out several in-game rewards for the players to collect. One of these rewards is a legendary badass weapon called Valravn’s Claw that every assassin would want to get their hands on.

Getting your hands on this weapon is pretty straightforward. Here’s what you got to do:

• Firstly, login into Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
• Then, head over to Ubisoft Connect that you can access from the main menu or the in-game menu.
• Now, if you scroll over to the rewards section, you’ll be able to find the Valravn’s Claw.
• Select the weapon and click on ‘Get it Now’ to add it to your game!

However, here’s the catch.

The Valravn’s Claw sword is not going to be free for grabs. It’s going to cost 100 Connect Points before you can add it to your game.

What are Ubisoft Connect Points?

Connect Points are something akin to loyalty points that you receive for completing different activities on Ubisoft Connect. These activities involve completing the challenges, playing your games, and in turn, leveling up your Connect profile.

Here’s all you need to know about Ubisoft Connect poins:

• These are loyalty points that you can get by gaining 500 XP and leveling up your Connect profile.
• Every time you level up, you’ll earn these Connect points. You get 10 units for every level up, 50 units for every fifth level up, and 100 units for every tenth level up.

So, if you have sufficient Connect points, you’ll be able to grab that sweet, sweet legendary short sword. Let’s talk about Valravn’s Claw now and how good it truly is.

What is Valravn’s Claw?

The Valravn’s Claw is a legendary Mentor’s Guild one-handed sword in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Being a short sword, the Valravn’s claw serves its purpose well as a one-handed weapon.

Here’s all you need to know about its power.

• It has pretty average stats with Attack: 68, Speed: 57, Stun: 102, Critical Chance: 75, and Weight: 8.3.
• However, it increases melee damage on finishers for 10 seconds, making it a great first or second weapon for defeating some of the harder enemies.

When comparing it to some of the stronger weapons in the game, though, it becomes clear that there are better options to go for than this short sword. One example that I can give is the Gae Bolg and Gungnir dual wield combo. This frighteningly amazing combo can tear through hordes of enemies without any effort. 

All in all, though, the Valravn’s Claw is a great sword that can be utilized at all levels in the game. Also, it has an assassin emblem – what more could you ask for?

Are there any other anniversary rewards in AC: Valhalla?

Apart from Valravn’s Claw, the Mentor’s Guild Tattoo scheme is also available in-game for you to apply on Eivor. Another Assassin emblem, another moment of joy! The update also saw the release of a Unicorn Mount as a reward for completing the ‘Rainbow is Magic’ challenge in AC: Valhalla.
