Time to Frighten Enemies with the Winged Shield in AC Valhalla

Many enemies in the Viking world of AC Valhalla can wipe you out of existence with a single devastating blow. In the midst of such hostile chaos, you’ll find comfort knowing that a particular Winged Shield exists to help you fight off hazards.

Belonging to the Wolf skill tree, Winged Shield is one of the best light shields in Valhalla. It can be purchased from Reda’s Shop for 120 Opals or from the “Valkyrie Armor Set” available in the in-game Ubisoft store of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for 2000 Helix Credits.

Note: If it’s just Winged Shield you’re looking for, you can buy it for 350 Helix Credits. It’s not mandatory to buy the entire armor set.

Unfortunately, you cannot claim this light shield by completing demanding quests, solving mysteries, or exploring every corner of this sprawling Viking world.

To buy the Winged Shield from Reda, approach him at his shop in Ravensthorpe and select the first option (see shop), which will display all the items Reda is selling. Look for the Winged Shield, select, and buy it for 120 Opals.

Reda is a “young-looking” merchant in AC Valhalla whose shop can only be found in the Ravensthorpe settlement after it has reached at least rank 2.

Also, if you are new to the game and don’t know what Opal is, then don’t sweat; I got you covered.

Opals are the rarest materials in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. They cannot be bought in-game or through Ubisoft store with real-world currency. They need to be earned in-game by completing various side-missions and collection activities.

Keep in mind that items in Reda’s shop reset daily and weekly, so if you cannot find the Winged Shield in his shop, wait for the shop to reset and look for it again the following week.

All the Weekly items that Reda sells keep changing every Tuesday at 7 AM MST/6 AM PT.

However, if you are longing to get your hands on this light shield, buy it from the in-game store by pulling out your credit card.
