Outpost Rush is a 20 v 20 PVP where competitors have to balance resource management, fort building, and objective control against other opponents to get the victory banner on their screen.

In this guide, I’ll teach players how to participate in the exciting mini-game and win the exclusive rewards they can gain by rocking this game mode.

Talk to Outpost Rush NPC

You can queue for an Outpost Rush game by talking to the Outpost Rush NPC or the Faction Representative inside your settlement. After that, an option will appear to play the game solo or with a group.

Once players have decided how they’ll join, the game will teleport them to a different island called Nauthynos, and a timer will begin on the top of the screen. Eventually, the Outpost Rush game mode will begin, and you can start demolishing the enemy team, which is usually of 16-20 players.

How to win an Outpost Rush game in New World?

A team needs to get 1,000 points before their opponents to win a game of Outpost Rush. They can gain these points by capturing and holding forts labeled as Luna, Sol, and Astra. Also, eliminating the opponents blocking the path gives your team bonus points.

Each game begins with teams at their respective forts rushing toward gaining more ground against their enemies. The battles are challenging and fast-paced, so it’s best to equip yourselves with a decent PvP build to get that edge over others.

Objectives in Outpost Rush in New World

A series of different objectives are scattered across the map that either team can claim. Completing them gives the team various buffs, which may come in handy while fighting your heart out on the field. Here are the objectives you should consider completing while playing Output Rush:

I. Defeat Baroness Hain

Baroness Hain is the main boss in Outpost Rush that’ll attack anyone who dares to come nearby. She spawns every ten minutes on the map, and taking her down will grant players a buff for health regeneration and defense.

Also, remember that whichever squad deals the final blow is credited with the kill, meaning players can plunge for the last-minute attack to steal the Baroness and grant the buff to their team.

II. Build Turret Emplacements

You can spend resources to build Turret Emplacements on the home fort or two of the outposts. These enormous defensive structures will shoot approaching enemy players, making it difficult for the opponent team to enter the area.

III. Defeat Enemies at the Corrupted Portal

Players can summon a horde of Corrupted enemies that’ll push the opponent team. To do this, the team needs to take on one of the Corrupted Portals, defeat the enemies, and deposit 500 Azoth Essence.

After that, you’ll receive a Totem which is used at the Summoning Portal to spawn Corrupted creatures that’ll attack the enemies.

IV. Upgrading your Outpost

To continue keeping control of the Outpost and win the game, members of the team should gather resources and upgrade the defense of the Outposts.

They can follow these activities to upgrade their Outpost:

  • Upgrade gates to keep the enemies out of the Outpost.
  • Create and upgrade the Command Post to get the constant buff of extra armor and damage for players on your team.
  • Place Protection Wards in the Outpost to prevent enemies from claiming the Outpost. They also act as a respawn point for teammates.

Strategize with your team and use these objectives to your advantage to win more games in Output Rush.

What rewards do you get from Outpost Rush?

Players will earn Coins, Azoth, and a Ruby Gypsum for playing Outpost Rush. You also get a Tier V Outpost Rush Cache if you win the game.

The number of Coins and Azoth depend upon whether you win or lose the game. To specify, the game rewards the losing team 270 Coins and 175 Azoth. On the other hand, the winning team gets 360 Coins and 250 Azoth.

I. What is the Outpost Rush Cache?

The Outpost Rush Cache is a chest you can acquire by winning a game in this mode. The Cache contains rare items like Avenging Slats, Bloodline’s Curse Earring, and others.

Also, once you get your hands on the item, you can’t give it to anyone in the game. In other words, some of these items can only be obtained by playing Outpost Rush.

II. What is the Ruby Gypsum?
