Intel’s Arc A750 is a high-end GPU from the Arc Alchemist range, featuring 24 Xe-Cores with 12 GB of GDDR6 memory. It comes with two power connectors, 8-pin and 6-pin, which would deliver up to 225W and an additional 75W from the PCIe slot.
Intel has tested the gaming performance for the Arc A750 in 48 DirectX12 and Vulkan games.
The upcoming mid-range desktop GPU featuring ACM-G10 Alchemist GPU is 3-5% faster than NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060.
The review focuses on the A750’s performance in modern APIs, namely DirectX12 and Vulkan.
The graphics cards were tested on Intel’s i9-12900K systems with ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Hero motherboard equipped with 32GB of DDR5-4800 memory and Win11 Pro systems.
DirectX12
In this API comparison, the A750 GPU equals NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060 in average framerates at 1920×1080 resolution with Ultra settings. The chart shows the current state of the driver optimizations, but it is subject to improvement in the future.
Intel also provided the performance stats for games at 2560×1440 resolution with High settings. The card offered over 60 FPS in most cases. On average, it is 5% faster than the RTX 3060.
Vulkan
Intel also demonstrated the card’s performance on Vulkan for games such as Rainbow Six Extraction, Dota2, Doom, and more.
Here, the A750 offers improved framerates at 1440p, while the RTX 3060 outperforms the A750 at 1080p resolution.
Intel is yet to reveal the full specs list for the Arc Alchemist A750 GPU. The pricing and release date has also not been announced yet.
