Graphics BETA Driver Released for Intel’s Arc A770M, A550M & More

Intel’s A350M and A370M are currently the only two models available for sale from the Arc lineup. The mobile GPUs have shown peak performance with high boost clock speed and overclocking capacity. So far, the cards have shown excellent results in benchmark tests.

Intel releases support for its flagship Arc Alchemist GPUs on mobile platforms.

Intel released the Graphics Beta Driver 30.0.101.1743 for its Arc A-Series mobile devices, and 12th Gen Core Xe-LPG GPUs now support the Arc GPUs such as A770M and A550M.

This means all three mobile SKUs based on ACM-G10 are now supported on laptops.

The updated driver also added new titles to the Game On program. Some of the games added are–

  • Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
  • F1 2022
  • Arcadegeddon

Intel added the much-awaited 3DMark optimizations toggle. The Arc GPUs are based on Intel’s discrete architecture customized to boost performance for softwares such as 3DMark.

The 3DMark toggle switch is set in the Arc Control software. It would allow users to disable the customizations and allow their Arc GPU to run an unbiased benchmark test.

However, the specific customizations go against the UL 3DMark rules. Hence, previous GPU drivers were not approved in the benchmark test.

Intel Arc GPU drivers not approved in 3DMark software:

  • Intel Arc Graphics Driver 30.0.101.1325
  • Intel Arc Graphics Driver 30.0.101.1330
  • Intel Arc Graphics Driver 30.0.101.1732
  • Intel Arc Graphics Driver 30.0.101.1735
  • Intel Arc Graphics Driver 30.0.101.1736

Intel Arc GPU drivers pending approval:

  • Intel Arc Graphics Driver 30.0.101.1743 BETA (with Advanced Performance Optimizations disabled)

The A350M and A370M are currently available. The faster mobile GPUs, namely the A550M, A730M, and A770M, will be released soon sometime in the coming months. For the desktop GPUs, Intel has only declared a release window, i.e., around Fall.
