Retailer puts Intel’s Arc A770 GPU on sale, couples with bundles

Intel’s Arc GPUs have spiked up competition in the GPU market with well-equipped powerful GPUs at a competitive price. This makes life hard for competitors.

Added to this, Newegg, a retailer in the US, has slashed the prices of the ASRock Phantom Gaming A770 8GB GPU for $269.99, putting it just 20 bucks over the A750. This makes it a very lucrative deal with an 18% drop in the MSROP of $329.99. They’re also coupling it with 2 games and 5 creative applications worth $490+ in the US.

The A770 provides exceptional value for money along with its brother the A750 against the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 cards. The main issue with these cards was the software which is being worked upon and improved as we speak. This has helped Intel catch up with Nvidia and offer better performance in a wide variety of titles.

The MSRP of the A770 8GB is $329.99, which has been cut down to $269.99, approximately an 18% drop. Drawing comparisons, an RTX 3060 8GB can be scored at the lowest price of $309, putting it 15% above the A770’s current pricing.

Another competitor, AMD’s RX 6650XT 8GB can be found for $279 which is again, about, 4% more than the A770 4GB.

Buyers should keep in mind that this is not a bare-bones version of the A770. It comes atop a custom cooler by ASRock, featuring their triple fan cooling and dual slot cooling design, powered by 8-pin connectors.

To make the deal even more lucrative, the A770 Graphics card is being sold with 2 games and 5 creative applications which are worth approximately $490 in the US, in addition to the $99.99 US “Arc Spring Play and Create Bundle”.

This is sure to tilt a significant share of the market in Intel’s favor and provide stiff competition to Nvidia who used to have a monopoly in the GPU market.

The A750 is also available for $239.99, at a $10 discount from the MSRP. The discount by the retailer on both GPUs could also hint at the fact that official discounts by Intel are just around the corner.
