AC Valhalla Jormungandr Armor Set: Prices, Stats, and Is it Worth It?

Recently, Ubisoft released a massive expansion called The Siege of Paris in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Consequently, players have access to the Jormungandr Gear pack, exclusively available in the Helix Store.  

The Jormungandr Gear pack consists of nine items and can be brought for 2000 Helix Credits.  

After listening to the price, players may question the benefits you may get from purchasing the armor set and whether it’s worth splashing some cash. Therefore, in this guide, I’ll go over the Jormungandr armor set and analyze if it’s a must-buy during your journey in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.  

1. What do you get in the Jormungandr Armor Set in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?  

Players will get the following items from purchasing the Armor Set in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: 

• Jormungandr Helmet 
• Jormungandr Hood 
• Jormungandr Armor 
• Jormungandr Bracers 
• Jormungandr Pants 

If you choose to purchase the entire gear pack, the game will also give out Spot, Ormr, Coil Sword, and Ouroboros Shield. 

2. An Overview of the Jormungandr Armor Set

Players will receive the following stats by equipping the Jormungandr Armor Set in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla:

• Increase damage taken by 25% 
• Increase Malee Damage when equipped 
• Bonus: +65.0 Melee Damage 

II. 5 Pieces Equipped

• An additional increase to attack when equipped 
• Bonus: +10.0 Attack 

Also, if you purchase the gear set, you’ll receive the following items:  

III. Ouroboros Shield 

Players will receive the Ouroboros Shield as a part of the Jourmungandr Gear Pack. It’s a Raven Light Shield, and you’ll also receive the following perks by equipping it: 

• Increase attack when parrying 
• Duration: 10.0 seconds 
• Bonus: +10.0 Attack 

Also, the Ouroboros Shield can fit up to three runes, with one square and two round slots.  

IV. Coil Sword 

The Coil Sword is a one-handed short sword, which can be bought from the Jormumgamdr set. You’ll receive the following perks by equipping the melee weapon:  

• Increase damage taken by 5%  
• Increase Melee Damage when equipped 
• Bonus: +20.0 Melee Damage 

V. Spot

Spot is a horse’s skin received by purchasing the Jormumgamdr Gear Pack in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. You can use this skin by talking to the stable master in your settlement. However, equipping the doesn’t increase or decrease the stats on the mount.  

In other words, the item is purely cosmetic. To increase the stats for the horse, players have to use the training feature in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.  

VI. Ormr

Ormr is a bird skin for your raven, which transforms it into a small black dragon with red accents on its wings. You can switch to this skin by speaking to the stable master at your settlement. 

Like the mount skins, equipping it doesn’t affect the raven’s stats or abilities.  

3. What is the Jormungandr Ship Skins pack in AC Valhalla? 

The Jormungandr Ship Skins pack includes three items that change the ship’s appearance. They are: 

• Jormungandr Hull 
• Jormungandr Sail 
• Jormungandr Shields 

This skin pack can be purchased from the Helix Store and costs 300 Helix credit. Once you buy it, apply the Jormungandr skins to the ship by talking to your Shipyard in your settlement.  

4. What is the Jormungandr Settlement Pack in AC Valhalla? 

The Jormungandr Settlement Pack consists of five items and costs 500 Helix Credits. They are: 

• Nidhogg’s Fate 
• Snake’s Well 
• Thor Statue 
• Midgard Serpent Statue 
• Loki’s Statue 

All the items are typical decorations that you can place in your settlement. For instance, Nidhogg’s Fate is the skin for your enormous tree in the middle of Ravensthorpe.  

5. Verdict 

In conclusion, it’s probably not worth it to purchase all the Jorumngandr packs in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. However, I would highly recommend you to buy the Armor Set, along with the gear pack, as it offers a unique style of gameplay.
