The fantastic beasts and magical creatures are crucial elements of the magical world. One cannot forget some of the main characters of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which included a Niffler, an Occamy, a Murtlap, a Billywig, a Thunderbird, and of course, Pickett! And as expected, they are a significant part of the Hogwarts Legacy experience.

Some wild beasts can be nurtured and cared for in Rivariums in the game, even though they cannot be kept as pets. And a Phoenix is indeed one of the magical beasts that can be tamed! And there is only one of its kind in the game!

There is only one Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy, and it can be tamed. The last of the house-elf, Deek’s, missions, Phoenix Rising, leads to the sole Phoenix in the game. The bird can be nurtured in a RIvarium but cannot be bred.

1. Which quests need to be completed to get a Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy?

The single Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy can be obtained during the Phoenix Rising side mission. All of Deek’s missions need to be completed to reach this last one. It is easy to capture.

I am sure that no one could ever forget Dunbledore’s Fawkes. Hogwarts Legacy gives us a chance to feel like Dumbledore with the opportunity to capture, tame, and nurture the legendary creature.

To meet the Hogwarts house-elf, Deek, you must complete the Room of Requirement quest. He will help your character explore the Room of Requirement and discover Vivariums. He will also give quests that act as side missions.

All of Deek’s missions need to be completed as Phoenix Rising is the last quest Deek shall give you and it is the quest where you will meet the solitary Phoenix of Hogwarts Legacy.

Other than Deek’s quests, other main quests of the game until The Elf, The Nab-Sack and the Loom must also be completed to unlock necessary spells, skills, and items.

2. Where is the Phoenix located in Hogwarts Legacy?

The Phoenix is located far south of the World Map in Hogwarts Legacy. It lives in the Phoenix Mountain Cave in the Poidsear Coast region. Poachers and spiders need to be fought against to get to the Phoenix in the cave.

On starting the Phoenix Rise quest, take the World Map. The Phoenix Mountain Cave is in Floo Flames location, and a yellow dotted line will appear on-screen, leading you to the area.

On entering the cave, you can live as a dueling wizard and a fighter as you battle poachers and giant spiders to reach the Phoenix.

3. How to capture a Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy?

Upon meeting the Phoenix, it is very easy to rescue it, and it can be captured on the first attempt itself using a Nab-Sack. On returning to the Room of Requirement, during a conversation with Deek, the Phoenix will fly into its own Vivarium.

To capture a Phoenix, it is only necessary to be close enough to the creature to suck it into your Nab-Sack. It is almost as if the phoenix wishes to be rescued by you.

The bird then needs to be brought back to the Room of Requirement, and you need to speak with Deek. During the conversation, the bird will naturally be triggered into flight and into its own Vivarium in the game.

4. Why is it important to rescue and tame a Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy?

Rescuing and taming a Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy is important as the bird will provide you with Phoenix feathers. These rare items and are useful in upgrading gear items to their full potential.

On interaction with the Phoenix, it will provide you with Phoenix feathers. These feathers are rare to find and very costly. It costs 700 Galleons at the Hamlet Shop in the Irondale settlement! While a bit of nurture and care for your rescued Phoenix will give you these free of cost!

These feathers can be used to upgrade certain items in your gear to their full potential and are very useful to your character.

5. How to get Phoenix feathers from a Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy?

After rescuing a Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy, it needs to be fed and groomed in the Vivarium. The tools given by Deek can be used. Another interaction of your character with the Phoenix gives Phoenix feathers.

Once the Phoenix is inside its Vivarium, head inside and feed and groom it. The brush and food bag Deek gave can be used as spells for the same. Once both the icons have turned green, one more interaction with the Phoenix will leave you with several Phoenix Feathers.

Regularly repeating these interactions will give you Phoenix Feathers each time, which can be used to upgrade your gear.

6. Can the Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy be bred?

The Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy cannot be bred. It is the only magical beast that cannot be bred among the thirteen tamable beasts of Hogwarts Legacy.

The game does not offer the opportunity to breed a Phoenix. Thus, there can always be only one Phoenix in the game, and only a limited amount of Phoenix Feathers can be obtained at once.
