Ubisoft has become something of a household name by achieving new heights through its ever-evolving IPs. So naturally, any news associated with them always takes over the gaming community by storm, and fans desperately wait to get a taste of all the upcoming Ubisoft titles.
With Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora slated to roll out in 2022, the excitement of many enthusiasts is already over the roof for this year, but as it seems, the French publisher has something more and huge in store for them.
According to the ever-reliable industry insider, Tom Henderson, Ubisoft plans on hosting a massive independent showcase as the company has over 20 games lined up to be announced. Through new game reveals and development updates, the rumored showcase will try to create anticipation for future projects.
Here’s a list of games that the studio plans to announce:
- Skull & Bones
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- The Division Heartland
- Immortals Fenyx Rising sequel
- Assassin’s Creed Rift
- Assassin’s Creed Infinity
- Ghost Recon Frontline
- Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake
- Prince of Persia (unknown title)
- The Crew 3 (Project Orlando)
- Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
- Roller Champions
- Beyond Good and Evil 2
- Splinter Cell Remake
- The Division Mobile
Initially, the event was scheduled to be held before this year’s E3 in order to prevent game announcements from being drowned out by the competition. But due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and other unprecedented world events, the plans to host one were interrupted, and now, it’s unclear if the showcase will go ahead.
Given that Ubisoft has a vast catalog of exciting titles waiting to receive prominence, it looks like the company will wait for global normalcy to be restored before taking a stand on its independent event.
