Initially, the event was scheduled to be held before this year’s E3 in order to prevent game announcements from being drowned out by the competition. But due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and other unprecedented world events, the plans to host one were interrupted, and now, it’s unclear if the showcase will go ahead.

Given that Ubisoft has a vast catalog of exciting titles waiting to receive prominence, it looks like the company will wait for global normalcy to be restored before taking a stand on its independent event.
