Left 4 Dead 2 to Receive a Fan-made Update Next Week!

Last month, Valve announced that an update for Left 4 Dead 2, titled “The Last Stand,” is coming soon. Now, the update is finally here and will be going live next week!

There are many people in the gaming community that either like the genre of zombie-survival video games or vehemently oppose the very premise of it.

It is kind of expected actually, given the extreme saturation that the genre faced in the last video game generation.

Regardless, if there’s one game that both sides will agree to be the best that the genre can offer, it will certainly be either of the two Left 4 Dead games! Simply put, they are just that good!

But, over the years, the popularity and growth of this franchise, especially Left 4 Dead 2, has slowed down quite a bit, with only around eight thousand players playing the game everyday.

While the figure is by no means a small one, it is certainly low for the franchise.

This slow-down may be due to the lack of updates and new content in the past few years.

Nevertheless, Left 4 Dead 2 still carries a loyal fanbase that puts in a lot of effort to keep the game alive.

Valve also noticed the community’s dedication towards the L4D2 and recently called in a team of dedicated fans to work on an update for the game!

In a week from now, the update will be going live for us to experience!

The update is titled, “The Last Stand” and is essentially the love-child of fans coming together to provide new and amazing content for the game while polishing and refining the old features!
