Little Nightmares 2: 1 Million Plus Copies Sold in a Month

It has not even been a month since Little Nightmares 2’s launch but the game has already sold over 1 million copies.

Following the high expectations of Little Nightmares in 2017, the sequel Little Nightmares 2 had big shoes to fill. The next title was one of the biggest horror releases of 2021 and it came out among other biggies like the Super Mario 3D World.

Turns out, all the wait and anticipation was worth it as Little Nightmares 2 crosses impressive sales milestones across various platforms. According to the publisher Bandai Namco, Little Nightmares 2 has sold over 1 million copies in less than one month after release.

In the sequel title, we take on the role of a boy named Mono who wears a paper bag over his head. Similar to the original game we take a run across gigantic versions of various types of adults.

This recent mark will put the sales record of the entire Little Nightmares franchise to over 5 million copies sold. In the future, the studio might have more new surprises in store for us, but the development team at Tarsier Studios would go on a different path of new IPs and adventures.
