It sounds like something straight out of a fantasy novel, right? Well, this is the very premise of Team EARTH WARS’s new side-scrolling 2D RPG “LOST EPIC.”
LOST EPIC, released on Early Access, unveiled a roadmap and gameplay footage following the release. The gameplay footage shows snippets of the game where the player seems to be facing formidable enemies and meeting various NPCs. The game is available in both English and Japanese audio with subtitles.
The roadmap, on the other hand, reveals even more exciting details.
The roadmap includes the addition of areas like The Capital, The Underworld, and weapons coming this September (Q3 2021), post-game content releasing Q4 2021, and even more visually appealing content coming 2022.
If you’re wondering if this is just another hack and slash game, then you’re dead wrong. Although fighting these overpowered Gods serves the primary purpose of LOST EPIC, the mesmerizing landscapes and beautiful characters will make you want to explore the Sanctum more than engaging in fights.
Best of all, the art is from the same artist that brought us Fate/Grand Order, making all 20 hrs of playtime worthwhile.
Since you are a Knight fighting Gods in this magical land, you will have a choice of over 40 weapons, 100 skill customizations, and a special guarding technique called the Shield Gauntlet, which will prevent stamina loss. From choosing the gender of your character to deciding how they look, this US $20 game has got it all.
And if that’s not enough to make you click the “Purchase the Game” button, LOST EPIC will also give you a chance to fight alongside other online players using an item called Shroud of Mist. Two players will join the main character and assist in their fights to get Anima (used to strengthen equipment) and Tamahagane (power-up skills).
