Lost Judgement is Not Working on PlayStation Consoles After Release

Lost Judgement has been released in some select regions, but there seems to be some trouble right at launch. Players who pre-ordered the game are currently unable to play it.

The game received a lot of positive critical reception, but this latest incident has left fans confused and frustrated.

The Standard Edition doesn’t release until September 24th, but the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions have been slated for a September 21st release date.

The Ultimate Edition also comes with The Kaito Files, an expansion pack featuring Yagami’s partner Masaharu Kaito as the protagonist.

While it is already the 21st of September in some regions, users have been stating that they have not even been able to download the game, let alone play it.

Many players took to social media to voice their frustration for not being able to pre-load Lost Judgement on their PS4 or PS5.

Some had assumed that they would download the game earlier and then play it when it officially launches, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Australian and New Zealand-based players cannot even download the game, even though the countdown on the console shows there are 0 minutes left for access.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the developers of Lost Judgement, has tweeted out that they are aware of the issue.

No such reports have popped up regarding the release of Lost Judgment on Xbox consoles.  Not being able to pre-load the game was already concerning for many PS4 and PS5 users, but the fact that the game is not available even after release is a significant letdown.

We’re hoping that it doesn’t take too long for the developers to fix this issue and players have access to the game. While bugs are expected on launch day, this goes far beyond a simple glitch and can severely impact the game’s reception overall.
