Following the Season of Greed, IO Interactive will introduce Hitman 3’s Agent 47 to another one of the seven deadly sins, Pride, and give us a whole lot of new content while they’re at it. The Danish developers dropped a new trailer for the upcoming ‘Season of Pride’ and also detailed all the new content that will be included in the new act.
The season will kick off with the Pride Profusion Escalation scenario which will bring three new cosmetic options to the game – The Proud Swashbuckler, The Majestic, and The Narcissus Suit. At the start of the challenge, players will have to locate “The Peacock” and then face all the different challenges that follow, which by the way, will change depending on the selections you make.
Season 3’s elusive target will be The Iconoclast, who will be hiding in Mendoza. The activity will kick off on May 12, which as IO explains on their blog, is a little earlier than usual.
“We’re starting this one a little earlier than usual, but we’re also giving you longer to play it. For 12 days, you’ll have one chance to infiltrate Mendoza and eliminate The Iconoclast. Once you’ve updated the game, you’ll see the countdown clock for their exact arrival time already live in the game. We’ll double and triple-check that they leave as planned, too.”

Another highlight of the DLC is that players will get to return to Paris, the city where it all began for Agent 47 in Hitman (2015), for free on May 28 and June 6. This will be much like both of the previous titles in the series where certain areas were given out as free samples.
This free section will also be home to another elusive target, who IO describes as, “a Black Hat Hacker with a penchant for a certain Alabama jam.” So, you should probably keep your vials of poison ready.
IO has been putting out one significant update after the other for the Hitman franchise even though the company has a lot on its plate. The company has a new James Bond title in the works and is also rumoured to have partnered up with Xbox for a brand new fantasy IP. The IP is currently said to be in the early stages of development and job listings indicate that it will have a multiplayer in place.
