The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass release date is getting closer, which means players will be able to play Season One soon enough. A bunch of new Call of Duty content is dropping very soon like Warzone 2.0 and also the anticipated Modern Warfare 2 Hardcore Mode and players will be sure to keep themselves busy.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 drops on November 16th, 2022, which means it’ll release around three weeks from the launch of the base game and its release will coincide with the release of Warzone 2.0. Both of these games will be sharing Battle Pass progression.

While players can unlock free rewards in the Battle Pass by completing missions and gaining XP, the premium rewards will have to be unlocked with 1000 COD points which amounts to a value of $10/£10. This has always been a tradition in Battle Royale games so it shouldn’t be a surprise.
The Battle Pass goes live with Season 1 on November 16th and will feature various Operators, weapon skins and XP bonuses. Players who have bought the Vault Edition of the game will unlock the Battle Pass for free and will also be able to skip 55 tiers of unlockable rewards. The Vault Edition of the game costs $99.99 and it gets you the Red Team 141 Operator Pack and the FJX Cinder Weapon Block.
Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass Progression
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass will share progression between Warzone 2.0 and the upcoming Warzone mobile which will release in 2023. This is done to ensure that whatever mode you’re playing, Battle Royale or Multiplayer, your wins will be contributed to your overall Battle Pass.
Even though each of the games will have its own unique Battle Pass rewards and other unlockables as such, the majority of the unlocks should carry between the three games. So, players will be able to enjoy their cross-game Battle Pass progression across the above mentioned Call of Duty games.
