Mortal Kombat 1- Kombat Pack and Kameo Fighters Leaked by Amazon Italy

Mortal Kombat 1 has finally been announced, and we’ve received loads of details about the game, including its pre-order bonuses. More details about the game’s mechanics and the gameplay itself are yet to be revealed, but major information has leaked regarding DLC characters.

It isn’t surprising that Mortal Kombat 1 will include a number of fighters, both from the Mortal Kombat universe and other IPs, as it has been a staple for Mortal Kombat games for the longest time. Details about the Kombat Pack and Kameo Fighters were being kept under wraps, but thanks to Amazon, we now know the characters that will be added to the game as DLC.

Mortal Kombat 1 - Official Announcement Trailer

According to a product listing of Mortal Kombat 1 on Amazon Italy, Quan Chi, Takeda, Omni-Man, Homelander, Peacemaker and Ermac will be in Kombat Pack 1 while Johnny Cage, Tremor, Khameleon, Mavado, and Ferra will be in the game as Kameo Characters.

This matches up with a previous report that also stated that these characters would be added to the game in one way or another. While this might very well be the case, we still suggest you take this information with a grain of salt, as some of it might not be true.

This is because Johnny Cage was previously confirmed as a character in the game thanks to the official Mortal Kombat 1 website FAQ. It’s still not clear if he’ll be playable but given the fact that he’s listed with other playable characters, he might not be a Kameo fighter after all.

We have to wait and see how Kameo fighters contribute to and expand the gameplay and if they’ll be playable. Until then, stay tuned for more information, and be sure to keep an eye out for the game at the PlayStation showcase for a possible gameplay reveal.

Mortal Kombat 1 is set to release on September 19 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch.

About Mortal Kombat 1

Developer NetherRealm Studios has officially revealed Mortal Kombat 1, the next chapter in its long-running fighting game series, which was released on September 19th. It takes on that name, rather than the expected Mortal Kombat 12 name, because–as previous teasers hinted at–Mortal Kombat 1 is a sort-of-reboot of the series and takes place in the New Era timeline established by Liu Kang after he ascended to godhood in 2019’s Mortal Kombat 11.
