MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus & Gaming Graphics Cards Leaked

MSI has been rumored to launch at least eight different versions of their RTX 4070 graphics card, and unlike other RTX 40 series cards, the RTX 4070 will feature both the modern 16-pin and the standard 8-pin power connector. A leak from Gigabyte confirmed this information.

Two MSI GeForce RTX 4070 cards have been leaked ahead of release which are the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 3X 12G OC and the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio 12G. The Ventus 3X is an entry-level card while the Gaming X Trio is a high-end graphics card.

The MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ventus 3X 12G OC is an entry-level card featuring a dual-slot design and is equipped with the standard 8-pin power connector while running at default frequency which leaves less room for overclocking.

The MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio 12G is a higher-end graphics card, featuring a 2.5-slot design. The card will come equipped with a modern 16-pin design unlike the Ventus 3X. The card will also be much longer and broader, and the 16-pin design will help in overclocking.

The MSI RTX 4070 Series is set to launch on April 13th. The Gaming X Trio will probably be the second most expensive card from the MSI lineup (after the SUPRIM series), while Ventus 3X and 2X (dual fan) are most likely to be priced at $599.
