MSI Revealed Its Premium X670 Motherboards Launching in Mid-September

AMD is scheduled to announce the Ryzen 7000 series on August 29. Two weeks later, the company will launch the Zen4-based CPUs and motherboards on September 15.  

MSI revealed their new X670 motherboards, scheduled to launch on September 15.  

MSI confirmed that the Ryzen 7000 and X670 motherboards would be available on September 15. This ensures the rumors suggesting the CPUs and motherboards would be launched in mid-September.  

MSI’s X670 lineup features three X670E motherboards:

The only non-Extreme variant included is the PRO X670-P Wi-Fi motherboard.

There is no news regarding any B650 motherboard, but we might expect to hear something after AMD’s official Ryzen 7000 announcement on August 29.  

During AMD’s Meet The Expert event recently, Gigabyte confirmed that the company would launch a Tachyon AM5 motherboard based on the B650 chipset. Earlier rumors suggested Gigabyte would be using the upcoming X670 chipset instead.  

Even though AMD has confirmed memory overclocking for the B650 series, the mainstream B650 board is not advertised for extreme overclocking.  

In the same webinar, AMD reviewed the premium X670E motherboards, featuring the new AM5 socket and PCIe Gen5 support.

Crosshair X670E Hero(ASUS) 

It will ship with 18+2 phase design and 110A power stages and comes with a 2.5G network.

MEG GODLIKE is an E-ATX motherboard with 24+2 phase design and 105A power stages will ship with the M-Vision Dashboard.

Both the MEG GODLIKE and MEG ACE will ship with the M.2 XPANDER-Z Gen5 Dual storage expansion card.

It is a premium board with 22-phase and 105A VRM design.
