Neptunia ReVerse Set For Western Release In 2021

Known in Japan as Go! Go! 5 Jiden Game Neptune re★Verse, the anime game is going to be rolled out for the West in 2021. Devs Idea Factory officially announced that the RPG will hit the markets by the name of Neptunia ReVerse. 

Neptunia ReVerse will receive both English and Japanese voiceover options with English subtitles. It will be available to enthusiasts in both physical and digital subtitles. 

Neptunia Reverse is an enhanced version of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, a PS4 game. The PS4 game was a remake of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, a PlayStation Vita game. With Neptunia Reverse, fans are receiving a remake of a remake.

This announcement was made to mark the 10th year anniversary of the Neptunia franchise. The game series made its debut in 2010 with the original Hyperdimension Neptunia.

Given that Neptunia ReVerse is being made for Sony’s next-gen console, PlayStation 5, the game will pack tons of tweaks given that it’s a remake.

Neptunia Reverse will pack improved game mechanics, more playable characters, and enhanced graphics. Furthermore, Arrange Mode will offer players over 20 characters from Hyperdimension Neptunia for their party. More cosmetics will available too, allowing players to dress their characters as per their inclination.

When bored you can also participate in minigames in Neptunia Reverse. Just like in Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis, players can engage themselves in fishing.

Previously, the party member limit was restricted to 3 members. Thanks to new refinements, this limitation has increased to 4.

Gameplay aside, if there is one thing we absolutely love about Japanese games is the music. They always produce something new for our ears! Things are no different this time. Enthusiasts will be able to hear many new songs that the game will pack.

The game will release in Japan on December 17. While North America and Europe will have to wait for 2021 for Neptunia ReVerse to roll out.
