You Can Now Wear Aloy’s Armor Set in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut

The fine folks at Sucker Punch are a gift that keeps on giving. Despite providing enthusiasts with Ghost of Tsushima, one of the best IPs exclusive to the PlayStation, it looks the developers are far from done and on a constant lookout to add more iconic content to the game.

Continuing its mission to keep the fans as hooked as ever, this time, the studio relied on cross-promotional collaboration with Horizon: Zero Dawn and paid homage to the ever-favorite Aloy through a new update.

What are we talking about?

Thanks to Patch 2.15 for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, a new Aloy-inspired armor set has now been added to the game for Jin to flaunt. This getup can be obtained by traveling to the north of Iki Island and solving theForbidden Shrine puzzle.

The Forbidden Shrine can now be found to the north of Iki Island. Interact with it and solve the puzzle for a special armor created in collaboration with our friends at Guerrilla.

Patch Note Reads

With Horizon Forbidden West just over a week away from release, it’s no surprise that even Sucker Punch is jumping on the bandwagon and celebrating the protagonist of another highly-successful PlayStation IP. Game recognizes game, after all.

Besides the Horizon-themed outfit, Patch 2.15 also comes with a fix for the stuttering issue as well as a new Platinum difficulty option for ‘Survival’ in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

In contrast to the Gold difficulty, the Platinum level will prove to be more challenging, but at the same time, provide you with an improved opportunity to earn better rewards and come across high-level gear throughout your adventures.

Listed below are all the changes that Patch 2.15 will bring to Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut:

Single-player

  • The Forbidden Shrine can now be found to the north of Iki Island. Interact with it and solve the puzzle for a special armor created in collaboration with our friends at Guerrilla.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends

  • Added new Platinum difficulty level for Survival. This is still standard gameplay and will not feature weekly modifiers like Nightmare, but is harder than the gameplay offered in Gold difficulty, with better rewards and a higher chance for high-level gear.
  • Added Block button to Social tab in pause menu. This will allow players to add anyone they have matched with in-game directly to the PlayStation’s built-in blocklist to prevent matchmaking with that player in the future.
  • Addressed an issue that was causing brief stutters during gameplay.
