Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti with 4GB GDDR6 Leaks in an Asus Listing

Most of the things that have been said so far about the unannounced RTX 3050 Ti could be filed under ‘rumors & speculation’. But in an unprecedented ramping up of things, it seems that the much discussed budget GPU could be arriving very soon.

As spotted by VideoCardz, the details about the processor leaked on Asus’ official website on a listing for the TUF Dash F15, the company’s latest gaming laptop. It seems that the listing has now been deleted but the graphics section for the laptop clearly mentioned the RTX 3050 Ti as you can see below.

Obviously, it seems that Nvidia is set to add a new ‘budget’ member to the RTX 30-series GPUs which include the RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and RTX 3080. But apart from that and the rumors that it will ship with 128-bit bus, 60W TGP and 4GB GDDR6, not much is known about this new beast. Although, it must be pointed out that 4GB GDDR6 is not a whole lot even for a low-end offering.

The fact that it could be a new addition to the RTX 30 family could also mean one other thing: the introduction of a budget processor with in-built ray tracing capabilities.

It’s been a tumultuous couple of weeks for the computer tech giant. Only yesterday, news broke that the company could tentatively add hash limiters to all its future products. This could mean many things for the company, all of which we discussed in our piece on the development that you can check out by clicking down below.

The company has also been facing serious issues in the customer happiness department as its new RTX 3060 is barely reaching anyone AND selling at unreasonable prices. To be fair though, Nvidia’s is not completely at fault for that.

Could a budget GPU turn the tide for Nvidia? When will we get a legitimate confirmation on the RTX 3050 Ti? We’ll keep you posted.
