Nvidia’s Custom GeForce RTX 3060 Cards Gets a Weird Name and Design

Whenever I think of graphics cards, I usually think of them sporting a futuristic design that is usually backed by a cool name. Today, the graphics card industry has changed this by giving their products the weirdest (or unique) design and name.

Two of Nvidia’s exclusive card makers, EMTEK & MAXSUN, have released their own brand-new custom Geforce RTX 3060 graphic cards. The former gave the card a rather lousy design, while the latter’s naming scheme is absolutely catastrophic.

Based in South Korea, EMTEK rolled out its own GeForce RTX 3060 Miracle card. Like the original one, this custom card houses the exact specs that feature 3584 Cores, 12 GB GDDR6 memory, and 170W TDP. But nothing shocking about it, right? What’s horrific is the design.

The design of EMTEK’s GeForce RTX 3060 card does not look like it’ll facilitate proper ventilation. With proper airflow blocked, it can be pretty fatal for the card if the temperature rises.

Plus, if you have a thing for beekeeping or something, you might like what I’m about to say. A honeybee design will be printed at the front of this graphic card too.

Other than this, the EMTEK’s custom GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card sports a PCB design, 2.5 slot form alongside a pretty broad shroud and backplate.

The ‘GeForce RTX’ label & a Miracle badge with RGB LEDs are featured at the side of these shrouds. The shroud’s front side will see two orange fans while the one at the rare end flaunts a honeycomb design.

Aesthetically, it’s your inclinations that’ll decide whether you like the card or not. Still, rationally speaking, the lack of proper airflow is a concern that anyone interested should be aware of.

That’ll be it for the EMTEK’s GeForce RTX 3060 Miracle card.

Now comes the other graphics card that houses a somewhat questionable, hilarious name.

MAXSUN recently released their own GeForce RTX 3060 BIG MAC. No, BIG MAC is not a typo. The Graphics card now is really being named after a mouth-watering hamburger.

Does the marketing team love McDonald’s? Is this graphics card called Big Mac cause everyone loves Big Mac?

Initially, I thought that the graphics card must have a big mac’s pattern engraved on it or something. But from its design to specs, I covered everything carefully just to be disappointed cause I didn’t get my answer.

Coming to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, it has not been a smooth ride for the graphics card so far. First, it was being sold at unreasonable rates, then there were hacking rumors to be dealt with too.

But nothing beats naming a graphics card Big Mac. I’m lowkey dying to meet the person behind the naming scheme right now. I’m sure that professional must have had his reasons for naming the card after an evergreen delicacy.
