Atomic Heart Registers Over 5 Million Players in Just Three Weeks

Atomic Heart was recently launched on 21st February for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The BioShock-inspired title was well received by the gaming community with ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam.

Mundfish CEO and game director of Atomic Heart, Robert Bagratuni, announced that the closed world FPS game has amassed over 5 million players in the first 3 weeks. The developers are elated to see users enjoying the title which was a result of over 6 years of hard work.

The fact that Atomic Heart is available on Xbox’s Game Pass has contributed hugely to its monumental success. For a debut game from a studio which was yet to find its ground, Atomic Heart is formidable and worth its fame.

Atomic Heart was started in 2017, with its first announcement in 2018. However, the game was plagued by multiple delays in the following years. Not only is the title packed with fun action sequences, but it is also extremely engaging for those who are looking for a challenging puzzle-solving experience.

One tiny detail that left everyone bewildered was the missing ray-tracing support from the final launch. From the looks of how Atomic Heart was being advertised with ray-tracing in collaboration with NVIDIA, nobody could have expected this sudden move. However, much to players’ delight, Mundfish did state that they were likely to add it in a future update if possible.
