Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil is Coming to Rainbow Six Siege

Ever cosplayed as an iconic Resident Evil character in Rainbow Six Siege? You can do that now.

As a part of its collab with Capcom announced earlier this year, Ubisoft is introducing a Leon S. Kennedy skin for Lion to Rainbow Six Siege.

As you can see in the trailer below, devs have chosen Kennedy’s attire from Resident Evil 4 instead of going for his outfit from franchise-best Resident Evil 2.

As a part of this Lion Elite Set, players will get access to Kennedy’s uniform, headgear, victory dance, Drone gadget skin, weapon skin for the V308, 417, SG-CQB, P9, LFP86, and the R.E. Elite Lion Charm.

Kennedy will join fellow Resident Evil alumnus Jill Valentine in Siege, who was the first skin to be introduced in the Resident Evil x Siege collab. Valentine arrived for Zofia, who, like Lion, is a playable operator herself.

The Kennedy skin comes days after the announcement of Siege’s Year Six update titled Crystal Guard. The update will bring a new operator named Osa to the first-person shooter, who will join as an attacker and Rainbow Six Siege’s first transgender character.

Crystal Guard will also add many new features to the game, including a complete rebuild of The Bank, Coastline, and Clubhouse maps.

These rebuilds will incorporate new balancing, lighting, sound, and environmental destruction mechanics. Furthermore, the update will also improve Siege’s customization processes, allowing players to combine Operator headgears with outfits.

Resident Evil is not the first franchise to have its characters feature in Rainbow Six Siege. The game has included characters from Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell and even brought in outfits from the popular animated series Rick & Morty.

The Leon S. Kennedy skin is available to download right now for Rainbow Six Siege players on PC, PS4|5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
