Developed and published by NIS America, Poison Control is an action role-playing game that will be released in April next year. It will be rolled out for platforms like PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
The Japanese video game developing company has confirmed:
- North America will get the game on April 13.
- Europe will get the game on April 16
- Oceania on April 20
It must be noted that the game will not come with English audio. The characters will speak in Japanese. Luckily, you’ll be provided with English subtitles to keep track of the story.
Currently, not a lot can be said about Poison Control. All we know so far is from the official website of the game.
NIS America described the plot of their upcoming RPG by saying,
“From the worldly desires of humankind, delusions are born. These delusions, whether from the living or the dead, manifest as toxic creatures called Kleshas, and bring the realms of Hell into being.
After wandering into this infernal domain, your flesh and blood are usurped by a mysterious girl named Poisonette. To return to the Mortal Realm, you and Poisonette, as two souls in one body, must purify the hearts of the fallen.
Who are you? Who is Poisonette? How did you get here to begin with? So starts of story of your journey through Belles’ Hells.”
Thus, the plot in theory looks absolutely gripping. The kind that keeps you hooked for days. It remains to be seen if the implementation would match our expectations.
The action as seen in the announcement trailer looked fascinating. With both Poisonette and the protagonist bringing something new to the table, the firepower prowess will be amusing.
The graphics of Poison Control are very much like that of an anime. Visually, it looks like the game takes after Splatoon.
