Resident Evil Village Confirmed to Be “Much Larger” than Resident Evil 7

The much-awaited Resident Evil: Village is confirmed to have more hours of gameplay than its predecessor, Resident Evil 7. The exact details about its completion are yet to be out yet.

It took players 9-11 hours to complete Resident Evil 7. Do you know how they say that time flies quickly when you do something you love? Well, apply the same logic here! Nine hours seemed so less for a game that took ages to release.

Luckily, the same scenario isn’t repeating in the case of Resident Evil: Village.

Capcom Producer Peter Fabiano, in an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine UK revealed that Resident Evil Village would be “much larger” than Resident Evil 7.

However, Fabiano didn’t talk about the specifics so we don’t know the context in which RE: Village will exceed RE7. There’s a chance that RE: Village’s game world would be larger than before, or it could refer to more gameplay hours.

All I care about here is the fact that strides towards improvement are being made. No matter where the wind blows, the situation’s a win-win.

If you own a next-gen console, not only are you lucky given the shortages, you’ll also be able to enjoy RE: Village to the fullest.

Thanks to the powerful SSD that next-gen consoles house. Load times would be “virtually eliminated” from the game. The 3D audio system that PS5 packs further ensures a scintillating experience.

Players would be surrounded by eerie background music making the gameplay as real as it gets.

Another factor contributing to the hype around Resident Evil: Village is the use of RE Engine for its making. Many popular titles such as Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Devil May Cry 5 were developed on RE Engine only.

Resident Evil: Village releases on May 7. So, to know more about the game, stay tuned. As the game approaches its release date, more and more details shall be out.
