The popular action-adventure game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is getting a much-desired game of the year update this week. The cherry on top? For free. The update makes improvements in a lot of key areas from character skins to a new style of boss rush gameplay.
Sekiro is one of the few games that send a shiver down my spine. So difficult! Even after hours of gameplay, I felt it is the game that is controlling me and not vice-versa.
It was your typical one step forwards and two steps back situation. I lost my progress whenever I died. Thus, casual gamers might struggle to get a hold of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
So if you are expecting things to become uncomplicated with this free update, they won’t. However, fascinating new features will be added that further complement the game. For starters, more outfits will be available through which you can express yourself better.
Moreover, a recording feature known as remnants will be added. Remnants allow you to record your gameplay that can later be shared with your friends and the Sekiro community.
It is an amazing chance to brag among your friends as you show-off some killer moves. Literally, your opportunity to shine.
Going forward, the update will also pack a new mechanic of boss rush gameplay. Therefore, Reflections of Strength and Gauntlets of Strength are some new elements that you’ll see.
RoS gives you an opportunity to go toe to toe against the bosses you’ve previously defeated. GoS, on the other hand, is more of a mechanic that really wouldn’t let you breathe. It’s a chain of combat.
You die, you’ll have to start all over again. It seems that they were created only to lead you to disappointment. To go so far just to end up losing everything? Pretty harsh, right? Well, that’s Sekiro for you!
