Should you leave or take your resources to England? – Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

One of the biggest decisions that you’ll be confronted with in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla while progressing through Eivor’s story is whether you should leave the resources for Styrbjorn or take them to England. The decision could affect events that happen later on in the game so choose wisely.

Leaving the resources and taking them to England, both have their own pros and cons and their own effects on the story. Even though it’s up to you to decide what you’re gonna do, we suggest leaving the resources as you won’t have trouble finding loot when you go to England.

You’ll be confronted with this decision during the Seas of Fate quest. You could take the resources liberated from Kjotve’s fortress to settle in England but Sigurd is against this idea. That’s when you have to make the decision. If you want to know what happens if you choose both options, read on to know.

Choosing to take the resources to England

Choosing to take the resources to England

If you choose to take the resources to England, then you’ll receive 700 supplies and 20 raw materials.

Consequences: Sigurd will initially be against this decision but will leave it up to you to decide. On the other hand, Styrbjorn won’t start a fight but will be unhappy with your decision as he feels betrayed by both of you and will give you a piece of his mind before you leave for England. Later in the story, there will be a moment where Sigurd gets angry, and choosing this option might affect that decision.

If you choose to leave the resources for him, you’ll receive 300 supplies and 20 raw materials, the amount of supplies being significantly lesser than the previous option.

Consequences: Sigurd will be happy with this decision and Styrbjorn on the other hand, will feel sad to see you both leave but will give you his blessings before you leave, no hard feelings there. You’ll start in England with lesser supplies but this decision will be referenced later in the story in a positive way.

Which option should you choose?

Now that you know what happens when you choose both, it’s up to you to choose the option which you feel is best. But the better option is leaving the resources to Styrbjorn as choosing to do so will give you fewer resources than the other option, but the decision will ultimately make Sigurd happy and you’ll receive Styrbjorn’s blessing.

Even though by choosing the first option, you’ll receive 400 more supplies than the other option, it’s worth noting that the decision will ultimately prove no good for you when it comes to your relationship with Sigurd and Sturbjorn. While the 700 supplies might seem like a lot, you won’t have any problem earning that amount, all you need to do is just play a raid or two.
