After lying dormant for so long, Konami has finally revealed several new Silent Hill projects. One of them is the remake of Silent Hill 2, which many fans consider to be the best entry in the franchise. The remake is being helmed by the Bloober Team, responsible for making horror hits like Layers of Fear and The Medium.
It was revealed that the game will be a limited PS5 exclusive, and will release on PC too. The PC requirements for the game were also revealed and it looks like a fairly high-end PC will be required to play the game smoothly.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will require a minimum of 12GB of RAM, an Intel i5, and NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti or an AMD equivalent. For recommended specs, players should at least have an RTX 2080 or an AMD 6800 XT in their PCs. Windows 11 is also recommended for the game to run smoothly.

It’s still a great time for fans of the Silent Hill franchise as several new games are announced after years of waiting and rumors floating around on the internet. Apart from games, a new movie was also announced so it’s good to see that Konami is finally doing something with the Silent Hill franchise.
There was also another rumor that classic Silent Hill games were coming to Steam, and considering the games that were revealed, this rumor might not be that far-fetched. But even though that’s just a rumor now, Silent Hill fans have plenty of stuff to look forward to.
