The Last of Us Series Is Likely To Be Released In Early 2023

Recently, there have been many video game adaptations. Major franchises are now turning to movies and TV shows to expand their fanbase. The Last of Us will be coming to screens as a series, and we cannot wait.

HBO President Casey Bloys revealed the release window for the video game adaptation of The Last of Us, implying the show will release sometime in early 2023.

While the studio did not provide an exact date, the estimated time frame narrows it. This might indicate the series will be launched in Q1 next year, but there has been no confirmation yet.

The movie was initially announced in March 2020. The cast list is stellar, with Pedro Pascal playing Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, and Nick Offerman as Bill. HBO is also bringing in some actors from the original game; Merle Dandridge will play Marlene, and Jeffrey Pierce, the voice actor for Tommy, is cast in a new role called Perry.

Naughty Dog studio will also be releasing a PS5 remake scheduled for September 2 as part of The Last of Us franchise. The remake will be coming to PC platforms soon. The developers insist the remake will bring newly redesigned aspects to the game.
