Valheim, the online Viking survival game, has been garnering a lot of popularity since its Early Access launch. In fact, it has even beaten games like Grand Theft Auto 5 and Apex Legends when it comes to concurrent player numbers. The game’s building mechanics is a strong suit of the game and one that the industrious player has used along with their own creativity to build the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars as a Viking longship.
Reddit user Colonel-James-Parker utilized the game’s open canvas approach and its crafting system to pay homage to one of the most popular sci-fi series of all time. They uploaded a video of their “test build” to the subreddit r/valheim on Saturday, stating that it took them half a day while using debug mode console commands to add in resources.
Halfway through this video, Colonel-James-Parker also offered viewers a tour inside his recreation of the Millennium Falcon. With Valheim’s comfort system encouraging players to create their structures in ways to maximize health and stamina recovery, it makes sense to see the same amount of effort put into the interiors as the exteriors.
Future updates to the game have also been stated to add further ship customization which could make creating even more elaborate vessels possible. So, if the Millennium Falcon is anything to go by, we can expect to see some truly incredible creations coming from Valheim players in the future.
Developed by Iron Gate AB, Valheim is an online open-world Survival craft co-op game. Here, players will control dead Vikings and fight Odin’s ancient enemies and monsters.
In order to enter paradise, players will have to please Odin and prove their worth to the allfather.
The journey will not be easy as at every step, the danger of supernatural entities will loom. Players will have to venture out, explore various landforms, craft, and get stronger.
