The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine Expansion Is Set to Receive a New Quest

The Witcher 3 is a game with no issues except for one: It ends. The RPG is so immersive that you’ll want it to go on and on. Being an enthusiast myself, I would sacrifice anything just to go out on another venture with Geralt.

Luckily, a mod is here to make that possible.

Released on April 4, Nikich340’s “A Night to Remember” mod will add a new quest to The Witcher 3’s Blood and Wine expansion. At the time of writing, the mod has crossed over 4,000 downloads and 340339,000 views.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released back in 2015 and frankly you cannot say that there are better RPGs out there. Shortly, the developers dropped two expansion packs that took the game to another level. One such pack was Blood and Wine.

It takes our beloved White Wolf to the land of Toussaint, a peaceful region famous for its wine to hunt down the vampire blameworthy for two heinous murders.

As described by Nikich340 “A Night to Remember is a completely new adventure featuring characters new and old! You can enjoy new writing, cutscenes, voice acting, assets, a special reward, and some difficult decisions…”

To be able to play what the ‘A Night To Remember’ mod has to offer, you must complete Blood and Wine’s original story. Moreover, it’s also mandatory that you reach at least 50 player levels to have to get through the challenge.

For understanding the context of the mod, you must play and familiarize yourself with the entire “Blood Simple” quest from Blood and Wine.

Mods can add new sparks to games by adding a plethora of exciting stuff. Geralt just received the stellar Leviathan Axe, a weapon that the legendary Kratos himself wields!

With the Witcher 3 all set to utilize the next-gen hardware, we’re in for quite the ride this year.

When a team of crazy modders and dedicated devs do their jobs, it’s a perfect recipe for cooking a game that the generations will adore!

Currently, it remains to be seen if the quality of this mod will equal the heights that CD Projekt touched. There’s always a risk involved to unofficially add depth to the game but nonetheless, it’s great to see The Witcher 3’s universe being expanded.

About The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Developed and published by CD Projekt Red, The Witcher 3 is an action role playing game. Its plot is based on the work of renowned author Andrzej Sapowski.

The game offers a breathtaking open world gameplay  from a third person point of view.

The game takes players to a fantastical medieval world brimming with mythical beasts and creatures like Elves, Werewolves, Djinn and Golem etc.

The plot of the game revolves around Geralt of Rivia who is trusted by Emperor Emphyr to find his daughter, Ciri.

Ciri is the last inheritor to a primeval elder bloodline who has the ability to manipulate space and time.

Thus, in order to look for Ciri, Geralt goes on a quest crowded with missions and complex decision making. The best feature of The Witcher 3 is that the choices a player makes determine the outcome of the game.

The storyline presents itself with such complicated characters where one has to choose the lesser of two evils. Thus, it’s a game that doesn’t totally rely on brawn but brain too.

After finding Ciri, Geralt further helps her fight the king of the Wild Hunt, Eredin who wants to use Ciri’s power to take over the entire continent.

The ending of this game totally depends on the choices users make throughout the game. Therefore, it varies and can end either on a positive or a negative note.
