‘Dawn Of Ragnarok’ Rumored Title of AC Valhalla’s Third Expansion

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been one of Ubisoft’s largest projects and is easily the most worked-on AC game to date. The fan base has received the Viking-era game fairly well, and the studio’s dedication to bringing more content to the title has kept players very happy. We now have a rumored title for the third expansion coming to Valhalla, and if it is accurate, we may be seeing some truly grand scenes.

Ubisoft had previously stated that Valhalla would be receiving a lot of post-launch content, making it the longest supported Assassin’s Creed game to date. The first two expansions, Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris, added entirely new storylines to the game, and Ubisoft also recently released the Discovery Tour: Viking Age add-on. That’s a lot of content, but it doesn’t end there.

The information for the title of the third expansion comes from well-known leaker j0nathan, who has stated that the new DLC may be titled ‘Dawn of Ragnarok’. They came across this information while looking at the game’s latest update. The data-mined information revealed that the expansion will be set in Svartalfheim, the realm of dwarves, and will allow players to witness what is known in Norse mythos as the ‘Twilight of the Gods’.

The video put out by j0nathan also included the achievements/trophies you will earn with the new expansion. These include achievements for conquering all the territories of Svartalfheim, discovering all dwarven shelters, and max upgrading Odin’s bracer. Other trophies tease a new weapon type, the Atgeir, and new special abilities for Eivor, such as turning invisible, flying, and more.

The world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is constantly growing, and we’re here for it. If Ubisoft maintains this support record for future games, Assassin’s Creed titles may see a resurgence in popularity. However, some fans are a bit worried about the scope of the games. Every installment has increased the size of the world, and it’s getting to the point when gamers are feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Still, it remains to be seen how Ubisoft plans to tackle the next addition to the franchise. Until we have news of that, the ongoing DLCs for Valhalla should keep us all busy.
