The Viking survival game has been setting record since the day of its release. According to the data from this week, Valheim is still holding the top position on Steams Top 10 Sellers list for the sixth week in a row.
Games in the Top Seller list are ranked in order of the total revenue accrued, not on the number of units sold. But Valheim is winning even in the latter category as well, having recently surpassed 5 million units sold on Steam currently. And that number is even now on the rise and the 6 million milestone isn’t far off.
With the latest announcement of 5 million units being sold, the developers have stated that the total amount of time players have spent in the world of Valheim so far has clocked upwards of 15,000 hours and that the game has been pushed o number 39 in the best user-reviewed games on Steam of all time.
Valheim was created by a five-person team and is currently still in Early Access phase, bugs and glitches included. So that makes this six week reign even more impressive.

We’re sure that Valheim is going to keep growing now that mods are also being developed. Once the game is properly released and mod support is official granted, its player-base is going to grow even more rapidly.
