Valheim Leads Steam’s Top Seller Charts for the Fifth Straight Week

It’s Valheim world, and we’re all living inside it. Developed by Iron Gate AB, the survivor game keeps on climbing the ladder of popularity. Interestingly, Valheim has now dominated Steam’s Top Seller Charts for the fifth week in a row.

With more than 5 million units sold, Valheim has secured the first position in Steam’s Top Seller Charts for the fifth straight week. The recently-launched Loop Hero stood second and was followed by Valve Index VR Kit, Deep Rock Galactic, and Outriders in the top five.

Tale of Immortals, Hades, Baldur’s Gate 3, CS GO: Broken, and Dying Light Enhanced Edition also secured a top ten position in the list.

Coming back to Valheim, it’s absolutely stupendous to think of the heights it has touched. The game’s still in its Early Access Phase. Imagine the hype when enthusiasts get a complete game that offers a plethora of stuff on a massive open-world map.

It’s because of such countless exciting features topped with moderate system requirements that Valheim is such a big hit. You know you’re doing a good job when more than 135,000 people have given you an Overwhelmingly Positive review on Steam.

Another spectacular achievement that Valheim will flaunt is that as of March 8, over 408,000 concurrent players were exploring the Norse depth of Valheim on Steam.

Within the first week of its launch, 1 million units of Valheim were sold. From here, there was no stopping the sales of the game. 2 million copies were sold within two weeks and then 4 million in the span of one month.

I just don’t think that the popularity of Valheim will die out the way things are going. If a game in Early Access has taken the world by storm, imagine the havoc that can be caused when it gets a complete launch. 

With a myriad of exciting adventures set to arrive shortly, It’s fair to think Valheim will cement its position as a top seller for a long, long time.
