Warzone Season 4 coming out with a Brand New Action packed Map

Call of Duty fans are receiving one great news after another. With Modern Warfare 2 gameplay and news about Warzone 2 released just earlier this month, news about the brand new Warzone Season 4 is just a cherry on top for Call of Duty fans. Called Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune, it will have the usual bunch of new content like new events, new operatives, and bug fixes, but the most exciting news is the addition of a new map, Fortune’s Keep

1. Warzone Season 4 release Date and Time

Call of Duty Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune is coming out on June 22. As confirmed by the official Twitter handle of Call of Duty, the update will be released according to the following timings.

  • PDT: 10 AM
  • CDT: 12 PM
  • EDT: 1 PM
  • BST: 6 PM
  • CEST: 7 PM

2. Warzone Season 4 New Map: Fortune’s Keep

The highlight of the update is the new map Fortune’s Keep.
Roughly around the size of Rebirth Island, the map will have interesting locations such as Town, Smuggler’s Cove, Keep, and Winery. The map has a European theme going on with the locations looking similar to Italian and French villages. Although the map is very similar to Rebirth Island, it is not a replacement for the island. Hence players can still hop on Rebirth Island.

Fortune’s Keep will have the Resurgence Ruleset having multiple respawns meaning it’s a faster-paced game mode with constant gunfights. There will also be a new contract called Black Market Run. There is a range of powerful items waiting for you to buy like Sequencer Grenades, a Nebula V Minigun, Foresight, Specialist Bonus, and a selection of classified weapons if you reach a Black Market Station within the given time

Look out for mercenaries with a lot of cash around the map in the new mini-event Cash Extraction. Take them out to receive piles of cash.

Caldera is also receiving a few of its own changes in the update. The pacific island sees the return of Storage Town in the heart of the island between the Mines, Airfield, Village and Dig Site.

Visibility will be improved around the map as the vegetation has been reduced to 50%. There will also be mercenary camps around the map, dried-up river beds, and some mysterious mercenary vaults for you to track down. An exciting vehicle is coming for squads in the form of the Armoured SUV which will feature a rooftop turret.

4. Battle pass, New Operators, Weapons

As usual, the update will bring a new battle pass for Season 4. It will have 100 tiers and will cost 1000 CoD points. Warzone features both Modern Warfare and Vanguard elements hence we can expect new weapons and operators from both the games.
