Wasteland 3’s Latest Patch Addresses Numerous Game Issues

Wasteland 3 has received an important and much-needed patch that fixes many game bugs, improves the quality of co-op, and brings some imperative quality-of-life improvements. Read on to know more!

A few days ago, developer inXile’s much-anticipated Wasteland 3 was released on PC and consoles to a positive reception.

However, the game was plagued with many bugs and glitches on the launch, much to players’ dissatisfaction.

Even worse, the game’s co-op mode had its own set of issues, such as players losing their quest progression mid-way or losing their characters entirely!

So, to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, the developers acknowledged the issues and went to work just as fast, announcing a patch for the game, which was released today.

Coming to the finer details of the patch itself, apart from the major changes that have been previously mentioned, the update will also fix some of the questlines that could not be completed previously, the main one being the La Perla quest.

Apart from that, our in-game companions, Polly the swearing parrot, and the Cyborg Chickens, have also received a boost in HP.

Seeing as how they died a lot before the update, this is another welcome change. Many other changes have also been implemented, all of which are in the patch notes down below.

Wasteland 3 is by no means a bad game. The game’s choice-system is top-notch, and it improves upon everything that made Wasteland 2 such an endearing title.

The only issue is that many technical problems held the game back from receiving an overwhelmingly positive reception.

But, now that they’ve been patched as well, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how the players’ perception towards the game will change.

Following the events of Wasteland 2, we play as part of a duo of Arizona’s desert rangers whose base was destroyed at the end of the 2nd game.

After the people that were giving you aid in Colorado were ambushed and killed, you decide to journey through different parts of the game’s world, building the base once again and recruiting people to your cause.

The only question that remains, what will your course of action eventually be in this harsh wasteland?

Will you save it, or become the cause of its destruction?
