Ahead of Gotham Knights’ release on October 21, Warner Bros. Montreal has revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements needed to run the game on PC, and it is surprisingly demanding.
For the minimum requirements, a 64-bit Windows 10 OS is required with an Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor. Players will require at least 8 GB RAM with either a GTX 1660 Ti or Radeon RX 590. Recommended configurations require 16 GB RAM with either RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700.
As for recommended processors, either an Intel Core i7-10700K or Ryzen 5 5600X will do the job perfectly. Both the minimum and recommended system requirements need a 64-bit Windows 10 operating system to run the game.

It is clear that Gotham Knights will run the best on PC as it’s the only platform where the game will run on 60 FPS with the recommended system requirements. Unfortunately, for next-gen console players, the game will run only on 30 FPS and won’t feature a performance mode, as confirmed by the developers at WB Montreal.
Fans were frustrated to hear that the game won’t run on 60 FPS on the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S since the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were canceled previously. Naturally, one would think that the game would run at 60 FPS on the next-generation consoles but that’s not the case.
On top of a higher frame rate, the PC version will additionally include 4K resolution, ultra-high frame rates, ultra-wide monitor support, and even ray-traced reflections.
While the console players are understandably frustrated and disappointed, a 60 FPS patch could still arrive in the future but nothing is confirmed as of now. The game will be locked at 30 FPS on PlayStation 5 as well as Xbox Series X/S while PC players will enjoy the game at 60 FPS on recommended settings.
