Hogwarts Legacy is ‘the game’ if Harry Potter was your childhood and you have been waiting for your Hogwarts letter ever since. It is the best game I have played set in the wizarding world, giving us a taste of the life, we had yearned for so long.
With plenty of quests and side-missions throughout the game, we have a very adventurous life as a fifth year at our favorite wizarding school, Hogwarts. You don’t want to miss any of these quests, as completing them gives you great rewards. Like rescuing and taming the sole phoenix in the game!
A side quest in the Highlands, Well, Well, Well’s objective is to acquire a treasure. There is a map that serves as a hint for the same. This map is given to the player by a well located southeast of Aranshire in the South Hogwarts Region.
How to get the Well, Well, Well map in Hogwarts Legacy?
To get the Well, Well, Well map in Hogwarts Legacy, head to the Southeast of Aranshire in the Hogwarts Map. A magical well in the location will talk to your character and give the map required for the Well, Well, Well quest.
To obtain the quest, you need to be able to travel beyond the Hogwarts walls. It is also advised that you start the quest only if you have a means of travel other than walking, like a beast or broom, as this quest will require you to travel long distances, climb a mountain and navigate sharp edges above a canyon.
In the Hogwarts map, go to the east corner of the South Hogwarts region, where you will come across a location titled Well, Well, Well. Here, a magical well will immediately tell you about a piece of paper caught in it. Take the piece of paper, and this is the map for the Well, Well, Well side quest.
Why should we complete the Well, Well, Well quest in Hogwarts Legacy?
In the Well, Well, Well quest, the player needs to find a treasure using the map they get from a magical talking well. It is recommended to complete this quest as the treasure contains the Treasure Seeker’s Bicorn Hat, which the player can acquire upon finding it.
The Treasure Seeker’s Bicorn Hat is a Headwear in Hogwarts Legacy and acts as armor for your head. It also allows you to customize your appearance.

I. How to use the map in Well, Well, Well quest?
Use the Well, Well, Well map and decipher the location hinted by it. It shows a floating tree located in the middle of ruins, and this is in Irondale in the Feldcroft region. Find out the location of the tree in the World Map, as the tree holds the treasure.
The map is the hint to the location of the treasure. However, it is difficult as the most significant feature of the map is a floating tree in the middle of ruins. As too many ruins dot the map of the wizarding world, you need to put in your skills and figure out where precisely the map points.
For those of you who could not figure it out like me, the map points to a tree in the middle of a small ruin in the west of the hamlet of Irondale in the Feldcroft region.
II. How to obtain the treasure in Well, Well, Well quest?
To obtain the treasure in the Well, Well, Well quest, locate the tree in Irondale. Cast a spell on it, and the tree will levitate to reveal the treasure. Collect the reward, and the quest is complete.
In Irondale, fly to the ruins of a castle in the mountains, which is located on the side. It is possible to walk to the ruins, but it is very time-consuming and dangerous. It requires climbing over the mountain and navigating treacherous sharp corners. Hence, a broom or beast is recommended.
Fly around to the side of the castle to see a bridge that leads to a highlighted tree. Behold the floating tree! Use a spell on it (the most suitable would be the Levioso spell), and the tree will levitate and float in the air (hence, the name) to reveal a chest entangled in its roots.
Claim the reward, and voila, the quest is complete! You have also added the Treasure Seeker’s Bicorn Hat to your gear!
