Ranking the Best Classes for Playing Solo in Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal features six different classes you can choose from before you start your journey in the game. These classes each showcase a unique playstyle, and you have to choose one that suits you the best.

Choosing a character can be one of the most fun yet stressful decisions, and you probably want to pick the best class you can play with alone if your friends aren’t going to play with you all the time.

The Necromancer is by far the best class for solo players and is an excellent choice for beginners in Diablo Immortal. Other recommended classes that you should try while playing solo are the Demon Hunter and the Barbarian.

If you’re playing solo, you need a powerful class that can handle enemies without backup. This means that your character should have good survival skills or something that can distract the enemy, whey you try to attack them from behind or run away. However, you also need to make the best use of their abilities on your own.

Keeping this in mind, I’ve made a ranked list ranging from the worst to best Diablo Immortal classes for fighting off enemies alone.

6. Wizard

Wizard

The Wizard features a crazy amount of firepower in its skill set, but they’re vulnerable while attacking and tend to get overrun by enemies if you choose to play her solo. On top of that, they take a long time to wind up their abilities.

However, if you have two teammates to keep the enemies distracted, you can rain down devastating magic on the most powerful enemies. The Wizard is an outstanding teammate, but it’s really difficult to do anything with them on your own.

5. Crusader

Crusader

The Crusader features the lowest damage input compared to the other classes and is quite difficult to use while playing alone. This class is a complete team player, providing useful speed and power buffs to its allies, making their life a whole lot easier.

The Crusader has abilities to stun enemies, but it’s better to have an ally alongside it to take complete advantage of his power. The more you level up with Crusader, the more difficult it becomes to play with him alone and should be picked primarily to help your friends in battle.

4. Monk

Monk

The monks are difficult to master and can’t tank a lot of damage from enemies. It’s an issue that becomes visible quickly, considering that it relies on melee attacks, meaning you will need to fight close range during battles.

This class of characters mainly depend on combo attacks and properly timed abilities that require you to aim towards the area you want to use their skills. Their shield abilities and flexibility to switch between attack and defense are handy in PvP combat, but they are better classes to choose if you’re going on a solo adventure.

3. Barbarian

Barbarian

If you prefer to be in the heat of the battle, instead of throwing objects from afar, then you should pick the Barbarian as your class in Diablo Immortal.

This class has monstrous damage output along with good survivability, as their third primary attack restores some of your health. The only bad thing about playing Barbarian solo is that you will have to

give up a lot of amazing party buffs that make him stronger.

Regardless, if you think you might team up with players in the future, you should consider this as your versatile pick. It’s an amazing all-around character you can use during your adventures in Diablo Immortal.

2. Demon Hunter

Demon Hunter

The crossbow-wielding Demon Hunter is perfect for those that love to give out huge damage numbers. It’s a powerful attacker and makes up for its weak defense by destroying everyone in its path before they get close.

You receive the Multishot ability at the start of the game, making it an offensive class from the beginning. As you progress through the game, you will receive auto-firing turrets that can help you deal with a swarm of enemies.

If you love to play offensive and prefer dodging attacks instead of tanking them, then demon hunter is the perfect class for your solo adventure.

1. Necromancer

Necromancer

Necromancer is the best class in Diablo Immortal and has a beginner-friendly character. It’s because of its starting ability, Command Skeletons, that summons two undead teammates to assist you in battle.

These skeletons don’t deal a lot of damage to enemies but do an incredible job of distracting them, removing the heat from your character. It gives you the room you need to cast your abilities without taking any damage.

On top of that, you’ll be able to unlock new buddies like Skeleton Mages and Golems. Combine this with the Necromancer’s deadly move set that can destroy crowds within seconds, you’ve got a great solo class that is a lot of fun to try out.
