What does the Mystical Heirloom Relic do? – God of War: Ragnarok

There are multiple relics in God of War: Ragnarok which gives you various perks. One such relic is the Mystical Heirloom but the difference between this relic and the other relics is that the Mystical Heirloom relic doesn’t provide you with any kind of perk or advantage in combat like the other ones. But it does have its own uses outside of combat.

The Mystical Heirloom is the relic that awakens sleeping enemies, especially Stone Trolls that are scattered throughout all the realms. There are multiple of them that you can find in the realms and when you use this relic near them, you can awaken them and bring them back to life.

The Mystical Heirloom Relic Awakening a Stone Troll

Even though you’re basically helping the Stone Trolls by bringing them back to life, they won’t take it that well so you have to fight one every time you bring one of them back using the relic. These trolls are similar to the ones from God of War (2018) as they too have large stone columns that they use to attack you.

All of the Stone Trolls have the same move set so it shouldn’t be a problem for you to fight them. There are a total of 4 of these Trolls, and every time you defeat one, they’ll drop a Slumber Stone. Collect them and bring them back to the forge in order to craft them into armor.
