Yohanes Loukas, also known as “The Oil – Warden of Faith,” is a member of the Order of the Ancients in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Eivor must kill “The Oil” by collecting three (3) clues to his identity and location as a part of his mission to eradicate the Order.
Usually, you have to collect three clues to find the location of an Order member before killing them. Still, in the case of “The Oil,” if you already know his location, you can skip the part of collecting clues and assassinate him instantly anytime.
The Oil can be found standing in front of a stone building with a giant arch doorway near the Fearnhamme Ruins in the northern part of Fearnhamme village in central-west Hamtunshire.
The Oil is a semi-bald man with few black hairs and a beard. He wears a black robe and a large cross around his neck, which can be easily identified from afar.
You can walk into the Fearnhamme village and kill him at any time of your gameplay without looking for the required clues, but if you still want to look for the clues to his identity, then I have got you covered.
Clue #1
Players can obtain the first clue to The Oil’s location from the Zealot Hrothgar after killing him. Hrothgar can be found roaming around Crawleah in west Suthsexe.
Hrothgar, also known as Rat-Lord, can easily be identified from his giant size and heavy, shiny armor. The first clue points the player towards the second clue’s location in the Festival near Henge Farm.
Clue #2
Players can find the second clue to The Oil’s location in the festival east of the Henge Farm in the Hills south of Stonehenge in northwestern Hamtunscire.
Walk into the festival and head to the center “table” with wine and cheese on it. Collect the second clue sitting on top of this table. The second clue will inform you about the third clue’s location.
Clue #3
The third clue to Oil’s location can be found inside a sealed well in a pig farm located in Readingum Abbey in northwestern Hamtunscire.
Break the wooden planks covering the well’s opening and climb down to the bottom. Collect the third clue sitting on a wooden plank across the chest.
The third clue will reveal The Oil’s identity as Yohanes Loukas and his location at Fearnhamme village in Hamtunshire. Approach Yohanes when his back is turned and perform a quick assassination.
