All Six Tallnecks Location in Horizon Forbidden West – Detailed Guide

Tallnecks are massive information relay ‘towers’ or communications machines in Horizon Forbidden West that can easily be seen from afar. Climbing and overriding a Tallneck eliminates the fog on that particular map section and provides a clear overview of the location.

There are six (6) Tallnecks in Horizon Forbidden West in the following locations:

  1. Cinnabar Sands
  1. The Stillsands
  1. The Stand of the Sentinels
  1. Landfall
  1. The Shining Wastes
  1. Salt Bite

1. Tallneck Location – Cinnabar Sands

The first Tallneck can be found in the eastern region of the map between Stone’s Echo and Plainsong after completing the Death’s Door main quest in Horizon Forbidden West.

First Tallneck Location

Spotting this Tallneck is easy while roaming in the desert, but it takes some effort to override it. First of all, you need to climb up the satellite dish nearby until you reach the console. The console needs the power to move the dish. Look for the power cell on the lower level by climbing down the stairs next to the console.

Once you take out the power cell, drop down at the bottom and insert it into the generator.

Now, climb back up and interact with the console. The dish will now start moving, but some wires hold it back. So, climb to the very top and break the wires holding the satellite dish using your bow and arrow.
