Ubisoft has added a surprise update to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which is sure to make players excited for the next Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The update features a new quest and introduces one of the main characters of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The free update, which is available for everyone, adds a new quest titled “Shared History”. This update also introduces Roshan, one of the main characters of the next Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage as well the mentor of the protagonist, Basim.
Who is Roshan in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
Roshan is a brand new addition to the Assassin’s Creed series. Roshan will be getting introduced in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage. In Mirage, Roshan is the mentor of the game’s protagonist, Basim Ibn Ishaq, and also the one who inspires Basim to join the Hidden Ones.
In the quest “Shared History”, Eivor will be working together with Roshan in order to complete the quest which could potentially tie into upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Roshan is a master assassin and the dialogue between her and Eivor foreshadows some story details about Mirage.
Assassin’s Creed revealed the surprise update to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in a tweet on Twitter. The tweet also gave us a first look at Roshan’s look in Valhalla, who pairs up with Eivor in the quest. This hints that Roshan will survive the events of Assassin Creed Mirage as it is a prequel to Valhalla.
Who is Basim in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
Assassin’s Creed Mirage won’t be Basim’s first appearance in the series as he plays a supporting role in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Throughout Valhalla, Basim helps Eivor and Sigurd on their journey while being a pretty mysterious figure.
It is later known that Basim is the reincarnation of Isu Loki. Loki’s a member of the Isu and his resemblance to Basim confirms that both of them are the same person. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will reveal more about Basim as he’s the main protagonist of the game.
What is the plot of Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
Assassin’s Creed Mirage follows the story of a younger Basim set 20 years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Mirage will show Basim’s journey from a street thief to Apprentice to a Master Assassin with a conflicted destiny.
Mirage will reveal more details about who Basim was before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and his ascent from a local street thief to a Master Assassin with the help of Roshan, who will mentor him and inspire him to become one of the Hidden Ones.
